SAFETY

This is fairly nasty stuff (contains fluoride/fluoric acid and a half dozen other nasties) - follow the instructions to the letter. Read the 4 safety sheet from beginning to end.

And yes - that means full on gloves, long sleeves, apron, etc. Consider having Propylene Glycol ready to treat spashes.

The 4 bottles are intentionally kept in their own safety container. Keep it that way.

Use of cotton dabbing reduces the risk of splashing.

General process

  • clean with acetone in UltrasonicCleaningBath
  • optional - clean with special degreaser
  • optional - see manual for conditioning on chrome steel and similar
  • blue it
  • wash well
  • optional - oil it

MDS / SDS / MSDS
