Smartphone glass repair kit
This kit was successfully used on Samsung Galaxy s4 mini to replace the broken glass.

New glass
Repair kit (glass + tools) ordered here. The tools are worthless, the sticker and glass are good.
DIY Tools
- flexible steel pry tool, necessary to lift the glass at the start in order to get the wire underneath the glass
- wire to pull between the glass and the touch sensor
Process
- Take the battery out, re-close the back lid.
- Heat the glass to 80-100 Celsius (do not go above 100). Use the heat gun on lowest setting about 20cm above the phone. Check continuously at various spots with infrared thermometer.
- Follow the video.
- Use tissues with acetone to remove glue leftovers
- Attach the sticker: think twice which way it will go, which sticky layer to expose first, pay attention to the camera hole etc. If not all holes are present on the sticker - apply first, then cut out holes for sensors with sharp knife/tweezers. Make sure the middle button is in the middle.
NB: It maybe better to apply the sticker to the glass first
- Place the new glass in, and you're done!
After you are done
- Put all the tools back in the box, put the box back in its place
