Hartwijk and de Action (Langegracht, naast de parkeergarage en Politieburea) are very near to the space (walking distance). The Action has wood glue, some tools/nails/stuff and paint.

Hartwijk usually has a small cart you can borrow if you need to move things like very large 2.5x1.2 meter plywood, etc.

Nearby in Zoetermeer. https://www.bouwhof.nl/. Jan writes: Enorme winkel met zeer breed assortiment. Begane grond is helemaal voor klussen.
Mooie spullen. Alles van KWB en Proxxon. Maak ook heel veel dingen die je gewoon niet vindt bij de Praxis of Gamma. Zoals bijvoorbeeld een hele goede knutsel/makershoek!  Echt een leuke winkel om eens te proberen.

Specialty is veneers (largest stocks I have ever seen) but lot of hardwood available too. They have local and exotic species, including the good stuff (macassar ebony, palissander, walnut, etc). Beware, prices are extremely high (but so is the quality of the wood): veneers €15/20/100+BTW per m2 (oak/walnut/palissander), walnut 52mm €6k + BTW /m3, Oak €4.8k + BTW /m3 (prices from April 2023)

The place to go to buy affordable oak. Bonus point for the corner upstairs with smaller pieces (offcut from their projects, they build tables). Difficult to find longer clear-grain pieces. They have a huge planer/jointer, pretty sure they can surface timber of your choice. Super friendly people.
