Enabling the TIG Welder
The welder is behind a ACNode that also tracks gas-bottle swaps and keeps some statistics on use (it does not yet automatically deduct the gas from your account).
To turn on
- Swipe tag
- Switch the TIG welder on
- Open the big valve on top of the bottle
- Go wild welding
To turn off
- Close the big valve on top of the bottle
- Switch the TIG welder off
If it beeps / Auto turn-off =
If the unit detects gas buildup when not in use; -or- if the unit is powered but not used for over 2 hours - the ACNode will switch the power off. It will then start beeping until someone closes the main valve on top of the bottle (or the bottle runs empty).
To stop it from beeping - close the valve on top of the bottle. And press the 'OK' button on the screen when you are done.

- Welding current: up to 185A at 20% DC (5.8 KVA)
