Re the X axis DRO:

"I have switched the connectors around so it isnt the DRO. I have disconnected the linear encoder from the machine and tested its entire reach and gotten no change in readout. It think its unlikely that cleaning it will fix. So unless it is a loose connector somewhere it will probably have to be replaced." - Robert Konings
