TIG Welder / Lasapparaat
Inhoud
TIG 200P AC/DC
NOTE: the unit can take up to 28 Amps; our circuit is rated at 16 Amps.
Enabling the TIG Welder
The welder is behind an ACNode that also tracks gas-bottle swaps and keeps some statistics on use (it does not yet automatically deduct the gas from your account -- we first need to get some data on actual use/bottle).
To turn on
- Swipe tag
- Switch the TIG welder on
- Open the big valve on top of the bottle
- Go wild welding
To turn off
- Close the big valve on top of the bottle
- Switch the TIG welder off
Do not unplug the unit - the Node stays on to keep track of bottle use / gas loss.
If it beeps / Auto turn-off
If the unit detects gas buildup when disabled; -or- if the unit is powered but not used for over 2 hours - the ACNode will switch the power off. It will then start beeping until someone closes the main valve on top of the bottle (or the bottle runs empty).
To stop it from beeping - close the valve on top of the bottle. And press the 'OK' button on the screen when you are done.
Gas use & payment
The 10Liter bottles at 200 Bar produce around 2000 liters of gas. With a flow rate of 10 Liter/minute; you ought to get some 200 minutes of welding from a single bottle.
Refilling the bottle; and replacing that bottle from time to time gives a cost of 75 euro / 200 minutes, or, rounded up, 50 cent/minute (actual welding/gas-flow) time.
