Wiring

  1. N and single 220volt L via switch; black and blue
  2. 2x for the thermocouple - orange cable; white and brown
  3. 2x Normally open relays to switch a load contactor
  4. Earth wire

On a Harting HAN7Da connector.

RCD / Aardlekschakelaar

40A, 500mA residual current detector/aartlekschakelaar in de loop. It sits in the path to the 4+1 IEC wall socket.

kWh meter

Dit is een DTS353 -- https://www.rdlmeters.com/product/dts353/ met een Wat-uur puls uitgang. Deze is vermoedelijk low-voltage open collector. Plan is te beginnen met 5volt en een pull up weerstand.

VK2000 Control signals

Our version has 2 relays; with an NO to the 'L'.

  1. Earth wire (yellow/green)
  2. Neutral wire (for the AC/DC) (blue)
  3. L wire (for AC/DC and as the feed of the relay outputs) (brown)
  4. Relay 1 out -- switching to L (black)
  5. Relay 2 out -- Switching to L (green)
  6. Purple wire - not connected
  7. Orange wire - white/brown - Pt

todo

Probably needs a snubber

Risks

Inherent

  1. Heat runaway (CPU fault, contacts welded)
  2. Faulty thermocouple causing heat runaway / instability / cracking
  3. Contact with water/leak
  4. Material falling onto it / other people working too near / unclear that is hot

Operator driven

  1. Flammable material near
  2. Hot handles, etc
  3. Dust
  4. Unclear it is on / hot
  5. Opening while hot
  6. Bare wire touching
  7. Looking into it / infrared radiation
  8. Toppling, bumping, people/things pushed into it

Measures

  1. Earth leak trip/detector (touching bare metal)
  2. Heat sensor above oven
  3. Heat fuse 1 (firing relay), heat fuse 2 (interlock)
  4. Emergency button
  5. VK2000 validates heat/cool & stops firing outside control range
  6. Check ACNode for current & firing
  7. Overcurrent protection
  8. No unknown/uncontrolled states on powerup / after powerlock
  9. Instructions
  10. Signage (eye, heat, ..)
  11. Safe location
