We have a small tube of Stuarts Engineerings Marking paste (currently blue).
We use it to check tapers and fittings -- its an alternative of marking the surface with a sharpy to check rubbing. Search youtube for an example of its use. Use sparingly.
It lives in the metal shop; blue cabinet; with the Loctite.
This equipment is safety category 6: Other equipment with no limits.
This equipment is Noise Category 3: Can be used at all hours. No limits.
