Handle with care.
This is a precision tool with exact dimensions and straightness.
That means: handle it gently, don't hammer on it or use it as a crowbar and so on.
(if you need a crowbar - these are wonderful for that!)
It is very important that if you accidentally drop it or think it may be out of line
- either mark the tool very clearly...
- or report this to the mailing list...
...so that your fellow makers do not ruin their work.
Flat, rotary table. It can be mounted on the various milling and cutting machines.
We also have a Horizontal one.
Mounting something on it
It will take the smallest sized nuts for mounting -- but often it is easier to use the M12 bolts that are in the top drawer of the blue cabinet.
Mounting on the Abene
Depending on what you want to do - you may need to mount the plate diagonal on the Abene VHF3 Metaalfrees machine on order to get a wider range. See image blow
So the 'low' end is in de middle groove; the high end is in the front one. This let you still rotate the handle - but have a wider range so you do not hit the 'back' stop.
