Know that 1/4 of an inch is almost 6mm - but not quite. Putting a 6mm bit into a 1/4th of an inch collet or vise versa will absolotely ruin it. And they are expensive and hard to replace (long lead team; 30-60 euro's). | |||
So check that your cutter shank fits absolutely perfectly in the collet; with virtually no wobble even when not yet tightened. | |||

- Be considerate; if you feel you need to wear ear protection, then only use the tool between 07:00 and 19:00.
