To mount on various machines - to hold round things using the ER 25 collets in all sort of sizes.

If you've not use this before - then ask someone to show you. Also important: use the right (special) spanners -- as using a normal one (or some grip/pliers) will damage them.

The flange has 4 mounting holes - at 90 degrees. Some of our Verdeel tafel - Rotary table and lathe mounts have multiples of 3.

Use below mounting plate in those cases.
