We have a special set of DIN1897 'stub' drills for metal. Sizes 1mm to 10mm in steps of 0.5.
These are extra short drills for hard metal that are stiffer than the normal jobber length drills.
Be somewhat careful for them - as they are time consuming to replace. And, also for this reason, do alert the mailing list if you break one -- as the typical cases where a such a drill is needed - is one where a normal drill will really not be a good substite. So we can get replacements timely.
