This equipment is Noise Category 3: Can be used at all hours. No limits.

There are is a set of large hole saws in the workshop.

See also the Large HSS drills and Wood Drills for general purpose drilling and Spade drills for larger holes. Or the Stappen boor / Getrapte boor / Step drill for thin sheets and the Large HSS drills.

You need to make sure sawdust does not build up - you'll burn the wood otherwise.

Saw dust problems

It is often a good idea to first drill a hole (8-12mm) just inside (if you are making a hole) or outside (if you are making a disk) circle you are going to saw. This lets the sawdust escape.

These tools will wear out - and the space will replace them.

Ownership & History

Owned by the space. Current set bought early May 2019.

The doorn and the 44mm saw where replaced 2019-11-12; as they broke. Metal fatique. New model fancier (15 euro level).
